Hotseating in English
Class 6 tried their hand at some hotseating to develop their evacuee characters in preparation for writing letters to their parents from their new homes following the evacuation! They developed some great back stories which will surely turn into some wonderful pieces of writing!

Yorkshire Air Museumn
Last week, Year 6 from both Bramham and Shadwell went on a brilliant school trip to the Yorkshire Air Museum. It was a brilliant day with lots of learning linked to our World War 2 topic. We even got to see a model of the Barnes Wallis bouncing bomb, which we have been writing news paper articles…

Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh and Class One
In Class One we have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh and his paining Sunflowers. We have all shared our opinions on the piece, created our own pasta sunflowers and used our colour mixing skills to paint them similar colours to Van Gogh.

Class Three French
Class Three had the opportunity this week and last week to show off their linguistic skills. The children had to understand, write and participate in a short exchange greeting someone in French. The children used their brilliant acting skills as well as fantastic pronunciation.

Class R Fire Service Visit

Class 3 Woolly Mammoths
Class Three have been learning about instructional writing. Today, they had the task of following instructions to make a woolly mammoth. All the children did great and showed lots of resilience throughout the making process.

My super litter pickers
A very proud teacher moment - children from Class Three worked extremely hard and enthusiastically to keep Bramham free from rubbish. It was brilliant to see their communication skills and their determination for recycling. Well done to our super litter pickers!
