Reception Class Target Reward - Parachute Play

Our Reception class target for the past week has been to work as a team to ensure our classroom and outdoor area are kept tidy.

The children were delighted to reach number 10 on the target chart, meaning they could have their chosen reward - parachute play!

Christmas Tree Festival

Year 5 at Bramham have been busy making Christmas decorations for our school's Christmas tree at the Bramham Christmas Tree Festival. The festival on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend - go and check them out!

WW2 Cooking Lesson

Year 6 spent the afternoon having their cookery lesson. They learnt a variety of cooking skills, including 'the claw' knife skills, peeling, grating and weighing using a mechanical spring cooking scale. The children then applied these skills to make carrot cookies following a WW2 recipe. It gave…

Leeds Grand Mosque

Hotseating in English

Class 6 tried their hand at some hotseating to develop their evacuee characters in preparation for writing letters to their parents from their new homes following the evacuation! They developed some great back stories which will surely turn into some wonderful pieces of writing!

Yorkshire Air Museumn

Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh and Class One

In Class One we have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh and his paining Sunflowers. We have all shared our opinions on the piece, created our own pasta sunflowers and used our colour mixing skills to paint them similar colours to Van Gogh.
