Class Three are loving turning their scientific knowledge on plants into an iMovie. Children will be able to add videos, pictures, music and text to present information about plants (in an engaging way) in their cinema showcase.

Class 3 Stone Age Shelters
Class Three have been making the most of the last day and dry weather this morning. We have been using natural materials to create shelters from different periods of the Stone Age. Everyone worked so well together - fantastic!

Class Three Learning Log Challenge
Class Three excel once again in their learning log challenge. The children have learnt about the Stone Age to Bronze Age this half term and they have created a poster to show everyone all their fantastic learning.

A visit from Santa
Class Three were super excited to visit the outdoor grotto yesterday. We sang a lovely rendition of 'We wish you a merry christmas' and was able to ask Santa lots of fantastic questions.

Class Three Christmas Experience
Class Three had a fantastic experience at All Saints Church yesterday. The children were able to explore the church and deepen their understanding of the Christmas story.

Class Three French
Class Three had the opportunity this week and last week to show off their linguistic skills. The children had to understand, write and participate in a short exchange greeting someone in French. The children used their brilliant acting skills as well as fantastic pronunciation.

Class 3 Woolly Mammoths
Class Three have been learning about instructional writing. Today, they had the task of following instructions to make a woolly mammoth. All the children did great and showed lots of resilience throughout the making process.

My super litter pickers
A very proud teacher moment - children from Class Three worked extremely hard and enthusiastically to keep Bramham free from rubbish. It was brilliant to see their communication skills and their determination for recycling. Well done to our super litter pickers!

Instructional Writing
Class Three have been focusing on instructional writing. Today, they had to use adverbials, imperative verbs and exciting, sophisticated vocabulary to wash the dirty, painted toys.

Year 3 Magnetic Games
Class Three had a lovely end to the half term. They made their magnetic toys on Thursday, showing great DT skills and also resilience. On Friday, they had the opportunity to share their magnetic game with Class R. It was lovely to see how helpful and kind they all were.

Year 3 Learning Logs
Class Three have really impressed me with their learning log efforts. Their task was to create a fact file on a county of their choice in the UK. There were some incredibly creative ways of producing their fact files. I can't wait for the next one!
