Budgeting
As part of our PSHE topic (saving, spending and budgeting), Class Three were given £15 to spend on items from the YPO. It was amazing to see the children discussing what they thought the essential items were and whether they had calculated and budgeted for these items correctly.

World Book Day in Class Three

Ancient Egyptian Launch
Class Three turned back the clock to the heart of Ancient Egyptian civilization. They were set the challenge to use artefacts and independent research to find out about the way these ingenious people lived.

iMovie Showcase

Glockenspiels
Class Three have been using glockenspiels to explore the different notes and their sounds in music. They have read music well, understanding the difference between crotchet, minims and rests and even performed a piece of music.

Ledston Estate
Class Three had a wonderful day at Ledston Estate. We discussed the different part of plants, their functions, how water is transported, the importance of pollination and lots more. It was lovely to see them showing off their superb understanding of plants - our SITE topic.
