Year 4 Harvest Festival
This week in the Harvest Festival assembly year 4 had great fun presenting Haiku poems they had carefully written about harvest time and autumn.
"Haiku" is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines, the first and last lines have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables.
We tried to make our poems as visual and powerful as possible and really enjoyed sharing them with the rest of the school.
