All about Walter Tull
As part of Black History Month, Class 4 have been learning all about Walter Tull. They used various sources to gather information such as; a census, death certificates, newspaper cuttings and pictures. They were shocked to find that after all his achievements, he never received the Military Cross due to his race. Our aim is to put all this knowledge into a letter, to persuade people why Walter Tull should have been awarded for his bravery and leadership.
