We lava'd learning about volcanoes!

Class 4 have been exploring their place knowledge in Geography lessons. With this, we dived into the world of volcanoes; what they are made of and how they erupt...this prompted a deeper way of thinking about the world!

As a learning log, Class 4 were tasked with creating their own Volcano to bring into school. Before erupting them we explored all the different layers. This is where the fun begins... we took them outside and used vinegar, washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda and food colouring to create a volcanic eruption! Great fun by all.
