Beans and Sunflowers!
Class Two have been enjoying the start of their work on Plants in their SITE lessons. We have been naming the different parts of a plant as well as comparing the differences between seeds and bulbs. We spent the afternoon outside in the sunshine planting our own bean and sunflower seeds working carefully to fill our pots with soil, place the seed in carefully before watering them.
The class have taken their sunflower pots home and have a sunflower diary to see what they observe as it grows! We have kept our bean plants in school to observe the changes each day as well as setting up our own investigation to see what the effect of sun/water has on its growth. We are excited to see them germinate!
