Aboriginal Art
This half term we have been investigating Aboriginal style artwork in our art lessons. We have used pointillism to recreate the dotty patterns and looked closely at lots of different pieces of aboriginal work.
We have discovered aboriginal symbols and their meanings and looked for these in a variety of artist’s work. To create our own designs, we made tiles out of cardboard and string and used these to print aboriginal patterns with paint.
