Welcome to Year 5!
Year 5 have had a great start to the year! They are a lovely set of children, who are all very kind and helpful to others. We have launched our topic on our world: learning about Pangaea, continental drift and tectonic plates. The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about and creating planets in our solar system for our science focus on space. The children thought about art materials to create the planets to represent what they're like for example Venus has shiny cellophane as it is the brightest planet and red and orange tissue paper because it is the hottest planet.
