Herd Farm Residential!

Image of Herd Farm Residential!

Herd Farm Residential was an amazing two days, where everyone pushed themselves to their limits and managed to overcome their fears - our favourite thing to say since getting back has been, "I didn't want to do it because I was scared, but then I did and I loved it!"

We all had such an incredible time doing lots of activities from 9am all the way until 9pm! The activities were: archery, an assault course, high ropes course, giant swing and raft building at Yeadon Tarn. We were lucky enough to have sunshine for both days, which was an added bonus!

The children were fantastic and were such a credit to the school - we were so proud of the children's attitude towards challenge as they supported each other in making the most of each activity. The activities allowed the children to shine, showing just how great they are at teamwork, listening, resilience and motivating others. I was also pleased to see a lot of children make strong friendships with some children from Shadwell - what excellent social skills they have too!
