Art Day Year 6
Our schools had a federation-wide art day inspired the theme 'Under the Sea'. Year 6 were set the challenge to respresent both sharks and plastic pollution by incorporating elements of plastic to our pieces. We began our projects by learning the technique of marbling, mixing powder ink and oil into water and dipping pieces of paper into the water gave an exicting bubble appearance to our paper. Year 6 were then able to explore a range of mediums to decide which would work best for their final piece. We had a brilliant time and the final pieces look wonderful.
