Ancient Egyptian Launch Day
It was lovely to launch our History topic of Ancient Egyptians in style on Monday. We were so grateful to have a specialist visitor who told us all about Ancient Egyptian times. The children found out how the Ancient Egyptians prepared their dead for the afterlife by taking part in a step by step mummification and handling real Ancient Egyptian burial goods. Children also used artefacts, investigated with hieroglyphics and solved a mummy mystery to find out more about what life was like in Ancient Egypt.
