Safer Internet Day in Class Three
For Safer Internet Day, Class Three were given the statement - 'Should you be allowed to have a Facebook account at any age so long as you have permission from your parents?
First, they had to use their talk partners to get some quick ideas. They then voted with their feet, using full sentences to give their explanation for why they agreed or disagreed with the statement. After, we read about safer internet day, allowing them to understand some facts behind it. They then voted with their feet again to see if their opinions had changed from the information they had read. After that, we wrote down our argument and opinions.
The children absolutely loved it and had some brilliant ideas for their debate.
