Space SITE Project
This week we made our space buggies using all the information we have learnt about the planets in our solar system. The children chose a planet to design a space buggy for and created a design which had a practical specification. For example some children's space buggies designed for Mars included plans for the buggies' protection due to dust storms and large wheels for the hilly surface. I was particularly impressed how the children added stones to weigh the buggies down on planets with little gravity or children who added scoops and syringes to collect samples to be analysed back on Earth. Their ideas were endless!
