We have been engaging with Fairtrade week!

In art, we looked at logos, and how they have been made iconic through modern art movements, such as the Warhol Pop Art pieces. We then created our own 'iconic' versions of the Fairtrade Logo by collaging the logo with Fairtrade product packaging. The children showed super effort and produced excellent pieces with consideration to composition and effect. We then discussed what the logo represents.

We also looked at shape poetry in our English lessons, where we wrote our own shape poems inspired by Fairtrade products.
