Bar Modelling Maths
We have been looking at the mathematical strategy of bar modelling to solve word problems. This method allows children to visualise concepts and problems using 'bars'. During this particular lesson we used a variety of coloured post it notes to respresent our bars - this meant we could change the bars easily to create before and after representations of problem and play with this strategy.
