Last half term the children in Class One really enjoyed our Queen and Country topic and they each wrote a letter to HRH Queen Elizabeth 2nd to inform her of their learning. 

We have been eagerly awaiting a response from Her Majesty and were thrilled when an interesting envelope arrived in our classroom this week. 

The letter was addressed to the Children in Class One and had a Buckingham Palace stamp on the back. Inside, the letter revealed that 'Her Majesty appreciated our kind thought in writing' and the Lady-in-Waiting had also included some fantastic information posters about the Queen's life for us to read. 

Queen Elizabeth, Thank you for our exciting postal delivery and for popping in last half term!
