Future Politicians in Class 4's debate!
WOW! What an afternoon Class 4 have had! We've been working on our debating skills and writing speeches. Our debating topic was based on recycling food.
Having written their speeches, we set the classroom up like a debating room and battled it out! The children really impressed us by bringing in British Values; talking about the rule of law, respect and democracy. As well as considering other cultures and what is classed as essentials. They were all superstars but some speeches really stood out as did their confidence - watch out in a few years to come, they could definitely be running the country!
