Outdoor Tally Chart
Today the children in Class R had a very exciting maths lesson again. We started by collecting lots of natural objects from our outdoor area and we placed them all into 2 trays. After this the children then worked as a team to sort all of the objects into the correct box on the tally chart. We then had to count the objects and mark them off using our tally chart method. Finally we counted the tally chart so we could write the total in the box. The children all did a fantastic job practising making making a tally chart. Well done Class R!
