Miss Hole and Miss Ewen have been so impressed with Year 2's incredible attitude to learning upon returning from the holidays. We started off our week with our Launch Day for our new History topic.....Significant People in History! 

The children worked hard to solve a number of challenges such as ordering ourselves in a line from oldest to youngest to help us understand the concept of chronology. Following this, we looked at images of nine significant individuals that the children have studied before and worked as a class to put them into chronological order. We thought carefully about the time differences between each significant individual on our timeline and used the length of the playground to demonstrate it!
