Miss, what does orienteering mean?
Unfortunately, last week PE was stormed off due to forever changing British weather! With that in mind, we set the lesson for today and you can imagine how many times the class asked "what is orienteering?". After completing it, they should be able to tell you!
Orienteering is an outdoor activity, which sees the children problem solving and using directions to find the questions to answer. That's exactly what the class did, they worked in pairs to answer 26 questions ranging from RE focuses to PE focuses and everything in between. Every member of the class showed great team work and excellent problem solving skills. Well done Class 4, what a fantastic session learning whilst outside!
