Science Launch Exploring Classification
Class 6 found a break in the weather to get out into the outdoor classroom to go on a 'living thing' hunt. In teams, they were asked to list as many different species of living things as possible using the outdoor space as a point of inspiration. They then had to work together to group their items based on common characteristics and name the groups before giving a presentation on their groupings and the reasoning behind the groupings. We are looking forward to learning more about classification and developing our understanding of classification on a world-wide basis.
