Class R Winter Explorer Day
Class R had a brilliant day when their peers from Shadwell Primary School visited Bramham for Winter Explorer Day.
We began our day with a hunt for signs of winter, spotting robins, learning the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees and even finding a badger sett!
We made some fantastic leaf and bark rubbings in our outdoor classroom before returning to our classroom where we planted broad beans and sweet peas, made observational drawings of snowdrops and used fallen leaves to collage squirrels.
Everyone really enjoyed having a hot chocolate and a biscuit together whilst discussing everything we had learnt about winter.
