Year 6 SITE Project: Periscopes
Year 6 spent the final day of the Autumn term applying their recent learning of Light crossed with our topic of WW2 and how we see things to create periscopes for soldiers during the war. They spent the first part of the morning researching possible approaches to this project on the internet before creating a cross-sectional diagram of their periscopes. They then had the challenge of creating their devices with some simple materials found around the home. The children did a fantastic job and all of them had working periscopes to take home at the end of the day.
