Making Porridge
Goldilocks
Over the last two weeks Class R have read the story of Goldilocks. We have discussed the story and thought about whether Goldilocks should have gone into the Bear's house. The children have enjoyed the story and were able to use simple actions to retell the story. As part of our work the children were eager to make and taste porridge. The children loved adding their own ingredients and were excited to share their porridge with their friends. Lots of the children really liked the porridge and ate it all up just like Goldilocks.
The children have also done some super independent writing including speech bubbles, story maps and sentences. They have worked hard to segment to spell using their phonic knowledge.
