Blast off!
5, 4, 3, 2, 1….
Class One zoomed to the moon to discover their new topic for this half term. The children were asked to create an intergalactic passport which they would need to board the space craft. Next we travelled to the ‘moon’ to find out about Neil Armstrong who was the first person to walk on the moon.
The children imagined what it would be like to be in a rocket and thought of ways to keep safe whilst on their journey.
We even tasted real astronaut ice-cream which received mixed reviews from the children!
