Post Office Visit
Class One have been learning all about HRH Queen Elizabeth 2nd this half term. We have learnt about the members of the Royal family and what happened on the Queen's coronation day.
To link with our focus text in English, 'The Jolly Postman', the children visited Bramham Post Office to send some very important letters to The Queen.
Whilst at the post office, the children asked lots of interesting questions to Louise who informed us of the journey our letters would take before arriving at Buckingham Palace the next day.
Class One represented the school excellently with their fantastic behaviour and wonderful manners. A special thank you to the parent helpers for supporting us with our visit despite the chilly weather!
The children are eagerly awaiting a response from the Palace.
