Interview with a Fairtrade Farmer
As part of our global economy topic this half term, we have been looking at how Fair trade fits into the global economy. We reviewed our knowledge of Fairtrade, which was excellent, we have clearly learnt a lot from our annual Fairtrade weeks! Then, we played a game of 'Hot Seat' to discuss and hear about the wonderful impact Fairtrade has the Fairtrade farmer we had been learning about, Alfonso. Finally, in pairs we wrote and presented brilliant interviews with Alfonso the Fairtrade Farmer.
All the children were fantastic at demonstrating the benefits of Fairtrade and managed to include the global economy vocabulary and knowledge we have been looking at since the start of term! A great lesson!
