R.E in Class 2
In R.E this term our aims are to recall and name different beliefs and practices, including festivals, worship, rituals and ways of life, in order to find out about the meanings behind them. We are gaining understanding and recognising different ways that people express beliefs and values.
The children brought a baby photograph of themselves for our display about christenings. We have been researching what happens at a christian baptism and what makes this such a special and important tradition for christian babies and their families. We really enjoyed looking at all the baby photographs and guessing who was who!
Even Miss Wilson, Miss Ewen and Mrs Turner brought their christening photographs in to show us!
