Self Portraits
Class One have been exploring the SMSC theme 'Myself' this week by creating self-portraits. The children looked closely in the mirror to find the different shapes in their faces and carefully sketched this onto their card. We used oil pastels to add colour to the portraits and enjoyed a 'walking gallery' to look at everybody's hard work.
We discussed as a class things that make each child 'unique' and shared what we like about our friends features.
