Making jam sandwiches
This week we made our own butter. We used double cream and worked with a partner to shake the cream until it turned it to butter. The children loved listening to music as they shook the cream. When it turned to butter we poured off the butter milk and then used the butter to make our very own jam sandwiches. The children were so excited to eat their sandwiches and the adults were very impressed with the children's spreading and cutting skills!
