Chinese New Year
Happy Chinese New Year!
Did you know that this year is the year of the dog? Class 2 learnt all about how the animals were selected for the chinese zodiac and had a careful look to see which year they were born in. Which year were you born in? Use the wheel below to find out.
We spent the whole day doing different Chinese New Year related activities including creating our very own dragon dance inspired by clips we watched of professionals. We also had a go at chinese writing, making chinese lanterns and tasting chinese food! We loved prawn crackers as a class and ate a delicious sweet that tasted like strawberries! We also tried different sauces on our noodles which really tested our tastebuds!
