LO: I can explain how to multiply fractions by fractions.

This week, Class Six used their fractions knowledge to tackle challenging questions on multiplying fractions. The class were split into groups and each group was presented with a different fraction multiplication challenge. This could have been a problem with a tricky simplification, a top-heavy fraction or even a proof. The group then had to work together to solve their problem and develop an explanation of the calculation before presenting their problem and solution to the class. The results...AMAZING! Every group succeeded and excelled in presenting brilliant explanations and solutions, all groups used their reasoning skills effectively to justify their answers and included super mathematical understanding and language! What a class of superstars! Well done Class Six!
