Dinosaur Estimation

Have you ever wondered how many children can fit inside a triceratops footprint? Year 2 asked this very question so we investigated by standing inside a lifesize model of a triceratops foot. Can you guess how many children fitted? Can you make an estimation?

The answer is 10!

Have you wondered how many waterbottles, shoes or toy dinosaurs can fit inside the footprint? The answers were much bigger than Year 2 had estimated.

Come and see Mrs Lawton at her 'estimation station' if you would like to estimate and calculate how many objects can fit inside the lifesize footprint.
