We loved taking part in our celebrations for Chinese New Year, and spent the day finding out about customs and traditions. We read about the Nian, a terrifying monster, and made paper dragons. We explored Chinese writing and wrote our own Nian descriptions. Everyone tried somehing new, and our favourite part of the day was eating the Chinese snacks.
