Following on from World Book Day, Bramham had a very special visitor to give an assembly, Daniel Ingram Brown. He talked about what it is like to be an author and held and interactive session about his book.
Oral Health Team came to Bramham School to do a whole school assembly. This is part of World Oral Health Day which is celebrated today all over the world. They talked about how to keep our teeth and gums healthy with some important information about what happens if we don’t look after them.
Children baked and bought buns/cakes to raise money for the charity.
Children at Bramham School (including the School Council) were joined by FOBS, Wetherby District Lions, Bramham & Clifford Parish Council, Bramham Community Fund and Phil at MW Landscaping who provided the base for the scooter shelter. Thanks were expressed by the children and Mrs Mills from FOBs for their help in raising money towards the scooter shelter. Kacie and Ben from Class 3 cut the ribbon and the Wetherby Post photographed the event, which should be in the paper on Thursday.
Bramham Primary had a very special visitor, the Archbishop of York from his visit on Friday. Children thoroughly enjoyed the assembly he did for Key Stage 2.
Our building contractors have been very busy over the summer installing our new new school buildings.
